This is a 1892 printing of Colonel Robert Ingersoll's 1874 lecture, The Gods, along with four of his other lectures. Ingersoll mostly gave speeches and lectures, which gives his works a very vibrant and aggressive feel. Ingersoll was a Colonel in the Union Army during the Civil War. Here I include the first page and a few of the advertisements from the back of the book.
